Sometimes it just takes an inspired shift of perspective to come up with a great idea. Alacer’s came when founder Chris Swift, a businessman and software expert, found himself frustrated by the limitations of existing software – and of the companies that provided it. Taking a step back, he was able to see that many common business problems could be solved at a stroke with simple but powerful software, backed by great customer service. Alacer
was born.
Alacer’s simple yet powerful software is based on a thorough understanding of the customers’ needs. Many of Alacer’s team of business professionals have invaluable experience in other industries – and that means we can develop and test each product with an understanding of the whole situation, not just the immediate problem. (Our experience in the hospitality industry, for example, provided us with a unique perspective when developing Hotel Manager.)
Alacer’s systems currently pay thousands of employees and have processed millions of business transactions – which means they also have tried and tested reliability. But our software is constantly improving and evolving, shaped and guided by the most important experts of all – our customers.
