EPOS Manager: the key features
Drag & drop Screen design
Designing the point of sale screen with Alacer Epos Manager is simple. The intuitive screen design tool features drag and drop technology making it really quick and easy to use, without compromising on functionality. Simply select items or lists from those available, and drag them onto the desired button on the till screen. Buttons can then be coloured, using the colour selector, and the font can also be adjusted. For speed, colours and fonts can be copied to multiple buttons at once. Unlimited screens can be designed, so different screens can be designed for different areas or occasions. Screens can even be designed to suit the individual user and attached to their profile. For optimum speed and efficiency, associated items can be configured so that when one item is selected on the till, other items that are often sold with it automatically appear. Spirits for example may have several mixer items associated, allowing the user to choose from a predefined list.
Unlimited button screens and lists
Using button screens and lists, the number of items available on the till screen is unlimited, and totally user defined for speed and efficiency. For groups of items, or items available in various sizes, a main button can lead to either a list, or a further button screen depending on preference. Items within a list can be nominated as 'top sellers' so they appear at the top of the list without the user having to scroll through. Top sellers can either be those items sold most often, or items with the highest GP to encourage up-selling.
Visual table plans
Alacer Epos Manager includes visual table planners, enabling you to keep track of open tabs efficiently. Colour coded to show the status of each table, the table planner provides a complete overview of the bar or restaurant operation, clearly showing which tables are reserved, occupied or available.
The planner also helps to track customer progress, from arrival to seating, order delivery and departure. Table layout designs are flexible and multiple room layouts can be designed as well as multiple sections if appropriate. Availability is calculated using the number of covers available within the table layouts, and different table layouts can be applied to different sessions (i.e. lunch or dinner) and different specific days. This allows maximum availability whilst minimising the risk of overbooking.
Options and print management
Being able to add detailed information about guest orders and having those orders print exactly as you and your team want them is essential. With Alacer EPOS Manager you can create standard option groups that can quickly and easily be added to multiple items. Or add central modifier lists that act as a standard option list easily accessible from any item on the till. You can even manually type special requests from guests against any item. Setting up bespoke print groups and item sequencing, allows you and your service team to have order printing tailored to your operation.
